Who is planning FIBRuary?

The inspiration came from several different pathways. As Color Me Happy Fiber Arts Studio was preparing for a festival last spring in Greencastle, local crafters at a weekly Sit-‘n-Stitch group Michelle attended had asked why don’t we have a festival on the Northside of Indianapolis? Couldn’t we do one here, at Forest Park Inn?

Only a few weeks later, Michelle and Maddie from RoseGold Yarn attended an industry conference together and began discussing the idea in earnest.  After a few days of brainstorming, the idea began to crystalize -- a vibrant yarn festival and yarn crawl to bring fiber enthusiasts together in Indiana during the cold month of February.  They knew they had something special that could brighten up the winter months for yarn lovers in Central Indiana and beyond.
